The new Pocket GammaCAM from Imagensys is the only one of its kind in the world. Battery-operated and weighing less than 1 kg, it integrates a detector, an image processing system and a display screen in a device as portable as a smartphone. Its 5 cm x 10 cm field of detection is twice the size which of competing products (typically 5 cm x 5 cm) and it has a superior technical performance (spatial resolution 2 mm, compared with the 4-5 mm of other commercially available gamma cameras).
